Larkspur Lane Designs was started in 2003 by two stay-at-home moms, with a single pattern. The pattern was called ...AND IN THE MEADOW...  The pattern was designed by myself, Susan Cook, who is now the sole owner of Larkspur Lane Designs. My former partner, and still friend, decided that she wasn't spending enough time with her children and left the company in 2005.  Since then, I have been trying to balance the "business side" of the company with the designing side of the company. I now have 8 patterns, including ...AND IN THE MEADOW... and am always working on new ones. It isn't always easy with 2 children of my own, but I have a very supportive husband who does more than his share of household chores and chauffeuring. I hope that you enjoy my designs and check back often.   

As of 2006, I am no longer a stay-at-home mom. I work locally as a teacher and have begun to travel as a vendor at quilt shows. I also have finally begun to get noticed! I have had 2 designs published by Cotton Spice magazine and 1 published by Quilter's Home. With any luck, there will be more published designs in my near future.
